Chanel Paris-Shanghai Pre-Fall 2010 Collection
Fashion God..Karl Lagerfeld...used Shanghai's moonlight and the Huangpu River as his own personal runway for his Chael Paris-Shanghai Pre-Fall 2010 Collection. He also made a film that accompanied the show. Karl Lagerfeld told WWD on his first trip to Shanghai, “It is about the idea of China, not the reality. It has the spirit of, and is inspired by, but is unrelated to China. It is not authentic like a Peking Opera or something.” His inspiration... The Terracotta Army.
