Margaret Keelan.......

Even though I ended up receiving my BA in Art History....I love ceramics and printmaking.  So I ended up getting my minor in  ceramics.  I may not be the best but I have much appreciation for great artists.. One of my favorite ceramic artists is Margaret Keelan.  She does figurative sculptures which confront issues of death...beauty...decay...aging....youth...and innocence. The figures have 19th century faces but are styled in clothes and accessories of today.  I love how unique and different her work is.  Here is a few of her pieces..
